Hamilton’s Grandmothers of Steel is proud to be a part of the Grandmothers to Grandmothers Campaign, a growing program of the Stephen Lewis Foundation (SLF). We meet monthly and focus on various initiatives, including lobbying, education and fundraising activities. www.grandmothersofsteel.blogspot.com Monthly guest speakers provide ongoing education around HIV/AIDS in Canada and Africa at our monthly meetings. We speak to groups in the community and welcome opportunities to tell others about the work of the Stephen Lewis Foundation and the Grandmothers Campaign. SLF is producing four films on our main areas of work 'Grandmothers' premiered at the Grandmothers' Gathering in August 2006, Orphans,' 'Women' and an 'Introduction to The Stephen Lewis Foundation.' The films examine the impact of HIV/AIDS on individuals and communities in South Africa, Kenya, Zambia and Uganda.

mum and dad called me-separately- to tell me the sad news. Apparently, Dad babysat Phil, and they attended his first solo exhibition in Fredericton. He left a large body of work to Leo Hayes, a wonderful gesture.
